What is SolarFest?
SolarFest is an astronomical event for Solar Observers, Solar Researchers and generally curious people to come and learn more about solar astronomy and safe solar observation.
- Professional solar researchers will discuss current efforts and goals.
- Amateur observers will share ideas on equipment, imaging and telescopes.
- Astronomers will demonstrate solar observing with hands-on activities for all levels.
- Daystar Filters will host visitors at their facility with special equipment demonstrations and facility tours.
- Equipment vendors will be present to talk about current offerings.

SolarFest 2018 Registration opens February 1, 2018.

Admission to SolarFest 2016 is $0.00 with qualified pre-registration.

Gate Admission without pre-registration is $20.00 per attendee per day.
Children under 18 and students with ID are free.

Meals will be availble to pre-registered event guests only.

Thursday-Saturday Lunch & Dinner.
Costs: No Charge

** While considerations will be made for special meal needs, limited local catering availability limits how many variations of special food needs we can accommodate. Vegitarian meal options are offered at all meals.  We cannot certify the following for any meals:   Vegan / Kosher prepared / Gluten Free / Peanut Free / Soy Free.  Meals at SolarFest are complimentary so we suggest for guests with special food needs in any of those categories should arrive self-prepared for special meals.  We apologize for the inconvenience this may incur.
